Hit Sound Bug
#1

I've tested this on numerous occasions now. Whenever my plane is "Hit" by cannon rnds, my USB suddenly shuts off and I have to unplug and then reattach my sticks.

Current config as follows.
IL2 1946 with base line Mod .93 w/ 6dof.
AMD 64x2 5600+ w/ 4gb Ram
Asus Crosshair MB
2 Asus 8800GT Video Cards in SLI
2tb storage in Raid 0+1
Thrustmaster HOTAS Cougar w/ Halls Effect Mod.
CH Pro USB Pedals

Sticks are connected directly to the USB port on the system and not thru a USB Hub.
As stated above, it only happens when hit by cannon shells.

Not a USB Head set, but editing how?
Using a standard headset. Sound is onboard 7.1 HD Audio

Weird problem. The motherboard is probably your culprit, try a difference chipset driver or audio driver set. You could first try disabling sound via bios then check to see if the problem still exists, thus narrowing it down some.
