...you can't have other people's static.ini and expect no problems ( different mods installed ...)

that is why you need to learn how to update static.ini by yourself


for canons map just add lines from his readme + these to default static.ini :

Aparently there have to be evolved standard procedures for development and packaging of Mods

Most users are completely lost ...

Hope this gets fixed in the future.

MAW for CFS3 has some proper archeological sites:

im-08b.jpg (The link is inoperative)

im-16b.jpg (The link is inoperative)

Now that a mesh converter is at the gates we could model them from scratch, or ask permission to use their models.

People dont be in a hurry...this map contains nations such as Italy, Greece(oops Hellas) with Crete, Tunisia and Libia that are ALL full of archeological and cultural sites. Even in Italy Rome has no Colisseum, Naples no Maschio Angioino and no the Temples Valley in Agrigento, Sicily.
I think that at present the presence of this landmarks are not so important for the use we have to do with this beautiful map...don't you think? Besides, someone could think to bomb them...hope you agree with me it would be a pity! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Give time to time...for now enjoy it!!!

...there are rules (standard) , we just make them as new issues appears ..

...and there is also clear warning for inexperienced users not to install beta/wip mods ... if you're lost, wait for official release ....

not lost mate Smile but i can't find many people on HL that can join my games that's all ....most of them think they got Mods right but they never make it in the game ....
