I'm not sure whether this is entierly possible or not, but is there a way of setting up a spawn point on the Tirpitz? We already have the Ar 196, any chance some clever clogs could simulate a spawn point and catapult take off from the larger capital class ships? Perhaps even aboard the dry cargo merchants to simulate the various raiders?

Although Its possible to land on the ships themselves, it doesnt mean its possible to do this. As of the time of this message, its still impossible to 'catapult' aircraft.

Meaning landing on the merchant ships? or on the Tirpitz? Surely you mean on the carriers... ??

I've personally witnessed my Squad Leader, RAF_Wolf, land on the rear quarterdeck of the Tirpitz, and he was in a P-51C at that :mrgreen:

Oh and I've landed the lerch on a merchant ship myself... but before I shut down my engine some nOOb torpedoed the ship and... boom...

There was an old - and i mean old, in the days before Pacific Fighters - usermade FAA campaign where you flew a catapult-launched Hurricane protecting convoys. I found the solution used there quite interesting. It's not a real catapult launch, but it's not far off either.
