Contrails
#1

Here I was quitely flying around at 26,000 feet this afternoon admiring my contrails and thinking to myself; wouldnt it be nice if they lasted slightly longer...

So, what do you think, is making them last longer (ie actually stay there for a period of time instead of vanishing) possible?

Well basically I ment at any altitude, but if it could be longer @ higher alt's then it that would be cool.

Basically if the contrails were like 15-20 times longer or something...

Skywriting! Woo hoo!

"Why, I do say Bigglesworth. It would appear those blighted Jerries are sending us messages in the sky!" "Whats it spell, Archie?" "Y-O-U.....A-R-E..... A...... oh, I think you should see this last one for yourself Bigglesworth, I dare not speak it."

Great idea, Magpie!
Longer lasting contrails would be nice - there might be some trade-off with fps performance, if you have loads of high-altitude planes, but still something that should be looked into... 8)

Perhaps these with some reduced opacity and smaller diameter. I recall LW pilots saying they would try and hide amongst the contrails when approaching from six o'clock. WOuld be nice to see this effect. Wink

What is your FPS hit on that!? Looks nice. What do you use that for?
