What ever happened to the idea of cleaning up the avengers FM and releasing it as a new slot?

Likewise the Japanese Torp planes.

This would fix one of the oldest IL2/PF problems.

I'm sure it can be done.

I would love that! Smile
I also hope the tail gunner can be fixed: I cannot see anything when it is fires; only a big yellow muzzle flash..

If, or when they decide to do this, I sure hope they change out the B-239's cockpit for the F2A-s's cockpit so that we can open/close the canopy, and maybe even change out the telescopic sight for the reflector sight.

Any reason the TBF-1 was not made flyable like the TBF-1C and TBM-3? Would be nice to have the early war plane that has the default skin with the US National Marking without the bars.

It was initially, but there was some sort of conflict with it for online play, so it was removed.

I think the problem was with product licencing. Grumman wouldn't let Maddox make a pit for it, or something like that. I might be wrong, though.

Yes, an Avenger and a TBF-1 would be great add-on to the TBF-1C and the TBM-3 already included in the MODS.
I especially miss the Avenger for british missions against the Tirpitz.
