I have added all aircrafs folders which have original gore effect, some minror changes have been done in texture
file too.

The updated new gore2.tga file has 7 more bullet holes and suits better than the old one.
The problem with gore effect is that it doesn't cover over glass parts of fighters cockpits
as it should do it, so creating one texture file with bullet holes that suits all airplans cockpits was not so easy.
because gore2 effect is based on original gore effect, and this effect as many other effects in il2 was
not so Pretty designed from beginning.
You can also get bullet holes over other parts in fighters cockpits too, like sits and so...
but the best solution is to compromise.

This mod combines (gore) effect and bullet holes effect in one effect, you get both blood and bullet holes at
the same time.Its work only with aircrafts that havve original gore effect( you have to activate gore
effect in your conf.ini file:
1. back up your conf.ini
2. open it in notepad, under section
[Game] you will find HighGore=0, change it to HighGore=1 and save it.


Installation:

Just extract to your MODS folder, if you have the older version just delete it.

If you want modify my mod plese ask for my permission.

this only works with aircraft from the original IL-2's Correct?

For example It will work with a ME-109, but Not for a P-51 i take it.

such has been an issue with gore in the game.

I'm using a Blood Gore by Peter mod and I want to use your wonderfull mod.. and I'm a noob about installations stuffs ..lol ..can you explain me How to install ? cos I'm not found in the Mods folder /vas_gore2/3do/plane/texture ok ?..sorry about my short English(I'm Brazilian)..

Hi!
If you don't have these folders, you have to create them inside your Mods folder and put gore2.tga
inside Textures folder not texture, please read carefully, but if you have other mods that contain these ...\3do\plane\Textures or if you have some mods that contain ...\3do create the other folders inside 3do folder and put gore2.tga inside that.
Then if you want to implement my mot you have to choose the aircraft from list in my mods readme file for
example He-111H-6, create:
..\MODS\...\3do\plane\He-111H-6
copy and past gore.mat inside it.
for other aircrft you have to create each folder as you see on list.
for example:
..\MODS\...\3do\plane\Bf-109F-2
..\MODS\...\3do\plane\HurricaneMkI(Multi1)
..\MODS\...\3do\plane\La-5(Multi1)
and... the the rest if you choose.

I haven't tried it it , but I presume this would work on modded aircraft that are based on old originals? For example:

HurricaneMkIId(Multi)
Me410A
Me410B
Me410D
(and the forthcoming 109T)


And UF_Josse's:

IAR-80C
IAR-81Cnew

Thing is, I'm not sure what the new designations are. The above are only my guesses.

Why not as 'gore.tga' in texture folder ?

Because if it implements over original gore effect you will get som of bullet holes (which appear on galzed parts) on some aircrafts (MBR-2-AM-34, All IL-2 serie, U-2VS) skin parts which are metal, so i decided make separate mod that not effects the original gore effect. You can test it on MBR-2-AM-34 and see that it looks not so cool.
