Plz can anyone mod IL-2 so it can use stereo driver?
It could do so a while ago (1.21, 2.0+), but now it just refuses to activate the stereo mode. Guess that ws just blocked by developers for some reason. Can anyone resume its work?
PS: Only modern driver I know to enable stereo on XP is http://www.iz3d.com/t-dcdriver.aspx -- they wrote it for their monitors, but you can use it without one, using shutter or anaglyph glasses. It works in a lot of games (including Dawn of War), but in some games it just does not (RE4, Il-2 4.08). The stereo image you get even using anaglyph glasses makes you wish it would be available in IL-2... it made me feel that way, too.
PPS: NVidia's StereoDriver is a no go, it works only with Vista (while earlier versions require old drivers... and don't work on my PC, just make it go black-screen).
