Interesting. You came to this conclusion by which way, guess or scientific test?

I count 18 sides on Bf109 main gear wheel, while Magpie atom bomb has 32...it works for him I guess.

I think (not science Smile ) that maximum detail level does not lie with IL2 "engine", but with current average computer hardware abilities.

It would be sensible to prepare an IL2 mod modelling standard by scientific means...no joke intended.

guys,this airplanes is not for old il2 engine,its too high quality model ..
this is only for inspiration making skeleton for il2 model ..
I count average quality is 50 000 - 100 000 polys from above screens.

they've actually worked on something all this time! Confusedhock:

looks like they would have built the planes themselves with every single part in it...

the me 108 (taifun?) would be quite a nice aircraft to have ingame

Yeah, bit of a pity that its limited to AI from stock. But with the ability to add new aircraft being a tad more open source, I wouldn't be surprised to discover a flyable Taifun within a short period of time.
