FLAK! Before I put any more posts I'd like to thank all modders for making this sim to its fullest...now speaing of fullest.... Does anyone think something like this would be possible?







I realize this is hard, but seeing as our flak has been already a bit altered....could something like this be done? :twisted:

Personally I don't think it should be done. The Flak in those pictures is clearly from Vietnam and this is a WW2 sim. :lol:

That is actually Hollywood flak isn't it? Footage I've seen of the real thing looks quite different to that.

Ah ok. :lol: This post was meant to be more of a joke then seriousness. But yes this IS hollywood flak, and NO its not from the vietnam timeframe. I wouldn't mind this kind of flak, and probably many others would as well. In my opinion, adds more "fright" to the players. :lol: And it was taken from a WWI era film, so it is definatly not Vietnam. :wink: And I'd love to see that footage you mentioned Bee.

I find the effects in-game pretty good. They don't look like film, true, but they're not supposed to look like film. IRL things look quite differently than film and Oleg actually did a pretty good job to capture it.

This effect is extraceted from a movie no ??? Because it looks like a effect done with a "particule prog" .... I know very well this type of progs and must be .... hard to include that in IL2 ...

I always hated the Mid Air Explosion, not enough large parts, like motor blocks, complete wings and so on.........and then that ssooooooooo stupid "poff" sound......we need a nice "bang" there !!!!!
