for PSP use "background" as alpha mask

To customize your HQ:-
install the basic textures from (The link is inoperative)

HQ skins go to -

#:\'46\Mods\BuildingsTextures\3do\Buildings\Pacific\HQ_US

make your customized HQ from template, save as 32 bit tga with alpha channel

hq_us.tga =1024x1024 (or512x512)
re-size and save as -
hq_us_l2.tga = 128x128
hq_us_l3.tga =64x64

or #:\'46\Mods\BuildingsTextures\3do\Buildings\Pacific\HQ_JP02

etc. Note: #:\'46 = YOUR Il2 Root folder.

Help please.
After making a HellHound Squadron HQ building using the fine hq.psd, I now don't know where to put it.
I don't seem to have a "Mods\BuildingsTextures\3do\Buildings" folder and I have no static.ini file, at least that I can see.
My mod install was from the 352nd Squadron (thanks gentlemen).

Where can I place this reskin? (I assume it will replace the default Pacific/HQ (HQ_JP02)

Thanks in advance.

having mods ( packs .... installations) from other sites isn't good idea . They are refusing to respect AAA mods structure so all kinds of conflict are to be expected . As 352 are using our work at least they could do is respect agreed mods structure.... they even failed to give credits to original authors , so its not surprising .

You could duplicate the folder (in the correct path) and call it "HQ_Hellhound". Make the corresponding entry in "static.ini" and you have it as a new object.

See http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/...php?t=4021 for more info.

(but as Fly-zo says it needs to be in AAA structure - with wrapper.dll and MODS folder)

This post may belong somewhere else.

Anyway, using the very nice template and the advices given to me in the sticky thread, I've managed to make a HQ. The only problems is the building is all bugged up. I suspect the alpha layer is to blame. I'm using photoshop 7.0, and here's the result:

What have I done wrong?

?

Could you post ( or PM me) a pic of the actual skin and SkinHi/Base.mat files?

Alpha was blank, and Base.mat referenced HQ_US skin.

check PM.

As the converter don't works for me (actually having troubles with it, but don't know what is going on), can someone please provide me an already converted graphic file of the HQ building, without the inscription, so I can write and paint on it the badge of my own virtual unit by myself?

My email is:

col._douglas_king at hotmail.com

Thank you in advance!

Another thing: where exactly, and how I have to write the data to make the new HQ building appear as an usable object in the FMB?
