on the pic below you will see a glitch, there are 2 arrows indicating some sort of ring. any ideas to the glitch would be appreciated

running an nvidia 9600 gt
2 gig ddr3
amd 64 processor

sorry, the glitch is the lighting in the lower left of the pic. it flickers madly when game is running.

I suspect it is either a video card driver problem. It might be an over heating problem or even a failing card, but my first instinct is that either the driver was installed incorrectly or IL2 has a conflict with that particular driver version.

thanks for the help, the card is new about 1 month old, the drivers are the latest, installed from new, i will install the previous version and try again.

ok, i tried the different drivers, and various video settings, still getting the same result. ant more ideas?

I have an 8800. I could send you my confi file , you save yours, swap with mine & maybe this helps, i've done this with 2 other members before & it helped them. If this fails there are more rthings we can try but this would be my first step.

Was your 9600gt installed into a new computer or is it a replacement card for another video card?
