I have downloaded the Gladiator MK I/II, and have them as new planes in my list. Than I copy the new bright RAF Reticle into the Cockpit folder.....but it not works....i have read some time ago here that this is the way to do that......did I something wrong ????

you need to find out which reticle.tga hier file of J8A is using ....if it shares file with zero you need to make new file, place it in J8A cockpit folder and edit hier file accordingly . i won't go in more details here ....


@philip.ed : i believe spit is using spitVb cockpit so change reticle in spitVb's cockpit folder

There is way how to do it. Unfortunately I'm not the one that knows this secret. But it can be done. For example, Blenheim uses Pe-2 cockpit with RAF reticle without changing russian reticle in Pe-2...

Maybe someone can create a mod to get the RAF Reticles into the Gladiotor


I uses the reticle mods for RAF & Luftwaffe planes and got the new RAF reticle in the MKI from the beginning
