Hi all,

Just another wild hair I got- *what if* all skins on AAA could be made into a single, giant skin pack? The way it could be done is every two months or so all new skins are released in a pack. Then you could link these packs in the AAA Server forum down there, and custom skins could be allowed in the lobby.

Considering a lot of players dl skin packs here anyways, it would make it one big install once every two months. Of course potential problems would be people making custom skins and not uploading them here, causing the dl lag I've heard about, but otherwise would be great fun. I know I get tired of the same ol' skins on the P-47, B-17, and so on so forth.

On an OT side note, I think I may release a Nose Art pack of semi-original (i.e. not historical) NA... if anyone wants something special PM me what you want and maybe a sketch of it, too (like stick figures with a description, if you will). I've already done some that will pass for NA but my newer stuff looks more plausible, such as "Native Express" and "Billiards Rack."

Indeed, the first one would be massive... afterwards, though, it would only be a max of perhaps 50 mb every other month, if everyone was uber busy...

I'd rather just pick and choose the skins I desire.. Wouldn't want one massive pack as I just wouldn't use half of them.

True- same here. But it's more so you can choose the ones you want to use and still be able to have the ones others want to use downloaded already to avoid waiting time and make it MP ready. That way you, me, anyone could use whatever skins they wanted to online without any lag.

I think it's better to just pick and chose. For my tastes, a skin pack should be reserved for either skins for a particular squadron or a skin pack for a particular campaign. Mega-skin packs to cover everything would be massive in size.
