Acajoun some of the maps cannot be opened in the Unlocked maptools FMB ...because their actors.static file is too large....therefore the memory error and CTD
When making these maps the builder has to work upon it in sections and combine them later
if you need to alter the map you have to do the same in reverse......use the actors cutter tool and work on a particular section... (that is the theory....I cannot do it yet)

all now is clear about Firefox'map (indeed, I can modify other less animated maps). By the way: even if I've followed the conseils Forager and Youve gave me, I cannot Yet load and/or modify your maps. I believe I'm following a wrong method of installation (I describe it in viewtopic.php?p=72950&highlight=#72950)
This gets me crazy, because the first time I've installed "OJ" and "Thailand" all went well.... :evil: :evil: :evil:

last month I updated Java and it screwed everything up........uninstall the last update
Are you sure You didn't load recently the messed version of OJ on 4shared? To be surer I've loaded Il-2 1946 on another PC (free from java updates) with all its mods, I've downloaded the OJ&extraIsland one more time but the result has been the same....

Cara Volpe rossa, come ho detto vorrei solo esercitarmi un po' con FMB tools, dal momento che sono un novellino. Il piccolo cambio che intendevo sperimentare era l'aggiunta di poche strutture portuali di fantasia a Palermo, che, se non ho visto male, sembrerebbero mancare (e forse hai avuto le tue buone ragioni per non metterne alcuna).
