Hello, I am new to these wonderful upgrades. Tried to install MOD and got Russian screen 408 not loading the game. Please advise.

could you be more specific here .... what game version you have .... which mods ( sound mod/ mod activator) wrapper you have installed ...

You need the 4.09b1m patch from this site for mods to work properly on an upgraded 4.08m install.

Also I believe it has been established that installing the Soundmod over 4.09b1m results in a reversion to 4.08.

Try to install the Soundmod then Install the WRAPPER.exe and the AC_INSTALLER_v2.2.exe, then 4.09b1m.

I do not know if this will correct your problem when performed on an already messed up install, Good Luck and please post back your results.

BTW, Russian load screen can be fixed but for now just try to get the game to load, OK?

Rafi, if you are desperate enough to start from a new install and despite the lack of feedback in the thread, it has worked well for several people.
