The real deal:Vids of B-25g/h
#1

I loved to see the B-25 G as flyable now...FM is about the same as other B-25s,but I find the 75mm a bit underpowered however, without the range of the real deal ,& perhpas lacking the right amount of punch...although loading time seems about right. The real weapons really shook the airframe & forced ground crew into constant re- riviting!

I find the reload times to be slow as most of the H models had a self loading cannon, while most of the G models had to be reloaded by hand. But still a person can reload faster than the six seconds we have in the sim. In real life a human reloader could reload in about 3 or 4 seconds if they were feeling up to the task. So it would be better to have a semi-automatic cannon in the H model that could be fired as fast as one can push their fire button.

I also find the power to be lacking as they used high explosive shells that had a much bigger blast radius that what we have. And yes, the range is not there.

Maybe you guys are right about the range and blast effects. But, you really ought to try firing the 75 using a force feedback stick - it shakes for a good 1-2 seconds after firing. Very cool.

Thanks for the links to the videos - I am very interested in them, and will be checking them out when I'm not at work.

Yes I do have FFB & ButtKicker too but luckily the recoil doesn't pop plates on my PC!
