Ok, guys I got the same version and I don't have this picture. Let's find out why.
Provided there is not mod conflict...
System is running :
Monitor Hitachi CRT 21in at 1600x1200 at 85mhz refresh.
NVidia setup: GTX 280 driver ver 177.41
4xAA, Aniso=Application control, Texture filter=High Quality, Triplebuffering=On, Vertical synch=application control.
Digital vibrance up 20%
IL2 settings:
Aniso, no compression, Perfect settings, water=4, effects=2
...
as dudok says... there has to be only 1 cloud and the fps goes straight to 0! but its only the explosion that makes the game stuttering. the smoke cloud that remains doenst have any impact on the fps. i think there must be something with the explosion texture files maybe?!
Version 5 has no effect on my game , nothing changes like version 1 and 2 . Is it necessary to install older versions before v.5?
just some Info to help the author
I have a medium machine, nothing great (at all).... but Im having No problems, and LOVE this Mod!
Thanks for all your hard work!!
Has anyone tried this in a night setting yet? When the sky is dark, each visible explosion
makes the dark sky background flicker for a second. No other problems and no fps hit.
Anyone else get this?
EDIT: it's doing in daylight now as well, so it's back to the old flak mod
I love this your mod, Buffy. I'm quite happy with ver. 5 now.
Just a little question: is there any possibility to:
1. Make the puffs clouds float in the air a little (chaoticly, independently from each other, if possible)? That would be so very realistic!
2. After explosion, grow a little bigger and become more and more transparent and vanishing softly? If possible...
Thank you and good luck!
Best regars,
Mangas.
ok pm sent
and btw : hi mangas do you instaled those french planes? or no luck
Very nice mod, but it's quite annoying to hear the guns on the ground loud and clear, when I'm in the cockpit at 1500m. Anything that could be done about this? thanks in advance!
That fix worked flawlessly! I'm, with Ati 1950Pro and now it's just fine.
