I've put them in the two spots suggested in this thread, but they are not showing up in game. Are these new textures for map makers, or are they supposed to replace the in-game textures? Maybe that's where I'm going awry...

Yeager, I am having the same problem, I have read the entire thread and tried all the ways to install these textures but they dont work for me either. There must be a conflict somewhere. I was really looking forward to these beautiful runways. Hopefully, someone will help us out. On the upside, I love this site, I have lots of Mods installed and I'm really having fun with them.

This worked, and you don't need a new folder in your MODS folder at all. Just backup/rename the files already in \MODS\MAPMODS\3do\airfield\Concrete\, then paste the new files into the same folder...and voila, it works and looks like a charm. I didn't think the game had anyway of referencing the files in a new folder, but I'd be buggered to figure out where to put the files. Thanks again! :wink:

i don't understand how to install this MOD since i have only this folders: MOD/3DO/ and then i can choose between Cockpit or buildings bu i have NO airfield/concrete folder. So must i make that folder? or do i have to install something else first?? pls a little help for this great MOD .

the airstrip is just a texture placed in " MODS\New textures\3do\airfield\Concrete"
and so on.
