IT WORKS!!!! I can't belive it Big Grin

So, if you want to use these textures with Canon's channel map, this part of the load.ini should look like this:

[FIELDS]
LowLand0 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga,2
LowLand1 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga,-2
LowLand2 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga,-1
LowLand3 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga,-1

MidLand0 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga
MidLand1 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga
MidLand2 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga
MidLand3 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga

Mount0 = land/summer/rom_mount0.tga
Mount1 = land/summer/sk_fields_mount2.tga,2
Mount2 = land/summer/bob_fields_1.tga
Mount3 = land/summer/rom_swamps1.tga

you might want to set forest=2. forest=3 was a very heavy burden even for my fast new PC.

Excelent job, looks amazing, espcially england. france you can see the textures repeat alot, i'm going to see how some of the slovakia corn fields can be incorperated as well as in letick's orig shots. Be even better when he releases the second part Big Grin

these are the v1 textures, I rather wait for v2 and v3...any news on their release date?
BTW thank you Canon for your support, I almost went crazy...these are the moments when I truly appreciate the work of those who create a whole map out of nothing.

Me? It's Canon's Channel map. open the load.ini, and replace the lines above mentioned.
and of course, you have to install these textures first.

The texture looks amazing ingame, good job!

I have a Q though, I've made my own texture to match the colors etc of yours, and I've made a .tree.tga version of it. However I have no clue as to how to put it on the map and mix with yours.

Basically, I followed reflected's advice:

And just swapped a few textures to use mine so that the tiling wasn't that obvious. But it made things worse!

The texture is 1024x1024 24bit TGA and the forest one is 512x512 greyscale. It also tiles properly
