Third party modellers making whatever they felt like and submitting it for approval.

you can see the J7W in action here, the only footage of the machine but there *is* footage Smile

also the kikka would be a cool addition1
I absolutely second that. someone already stated he is looking at the two as possible projects - not sure who was it ....

Henschel Hs P.75 would of been very interesting to have in IL-2 1946 since it is already possible for us to experience an alternative 'what if' history. I would love to fly this in il-2 someday.

It is Henschel's creative mind that is amazing. WIthout the creative mind in this woirld, the world would of been dull and boring world. However, remember German were not only one with many creative projects going on during WWII. America, British, Soviet and other nations has done the same thing during WWII and it is up for us to bring all of them to alive virtually in realistic way for alternative history to experience in IL-2!

Wink

Since you guys have been talking about the Japanese lightning, here is what they planned for '46.
It would have been called the J7W3, equipped with a turbojet and a bubble style canopy, and supposedly capable of just less than 600mph.

the Shinden is well underway as I understand, thanks to Kodama-san, maybe we can get a jet conversion afterwards but I would like to see someone tackle the Kikka and the Reppu first since both actually got air under their wings Smile

As far a Japanese aeroplanes are concerned...it looks as if we may be getting "three new ones" to play with at some point in the future.

1) The Ki-44 viewtopic.php?t=9343

2) The J7W1 Shinden viewtopic.php?t=9759

3) And the Ki-45 (modified BF110) viewtopic.php?t=11323
