First get freeware like paint.net or the GIMP.....(Get both!). one you have done that use the GIMP as the editor, and use paint.Net as the converter and photoshop. if you are trying to make detailed skins you Must have a photoshop that has 'Mac's Remove white' tool. reply if you need help. :!:
No scratch that it's kind of backwards.
before my laptop died earlier i did have photoshop (new computer is on it's way) but I had a look into Mac's Remove white tool about half a yr ago or so... What exactly does it do? and when i tried to get it to go into photoshop it didn't work....
If it just removes all the white from a certain layer then that would be very handy, at the moment i rub out white with eraser thing and stuff which takes a long time as you probably know....
interesting but I don't really see much use for it when I make skins.... I don't make my own templates so....
