i do not think it is nic to do this. I see what you want, and i think that we need a big AAA modpack with planes, maps effects and sounds and other things. Just like GWX or MAW or OFF.

But i prefer that the people who did the mods AGREE to do such a package, instead of taking various mods, compiling them and uploading them again.

Let the INDIVIDUAL MODDERS and the AAA crew cooperate on such a subject. Just like the Plane pack 2.7...

Excuse me.

Dear sirs!
I do not understand the reasons of your anger.
Answer a question.
Somebody from mod-makers has asked permission at Oleg Medox on use of his files?
Somebody from campaign-makers asks permission about use skins in himself campaign if these skins are upload on Flying Legends?
Somebody campaign-makers asks permission about use a new maps?

To this objects_pack I have not given the my prefix.
It not my pack.
It is the incorporated pack of creativity of

as someone who recently had quite some troubles with the static.ini and getting really annoyed by the copy and paste mess I had there, I feel like stating my opinion from a users perspective on this.

great work to sort this stuff out in this manner. this will help a lot to find and use all the good additions in the objects list.

maybe, just maybe, the problem would haven been none if only the sorted and worked out static.ini with maybe a small txt file telling which new numberblock provides which objects mod would have been posted.
and only the links to the nescessary mods, not the files itself.
so the original creator would have been more prominent when downloading the actual mod files.

but I understand the work and appreciate it. I would like to see this solved in a friendly manner. good addition!

@ yuve: PLEASE READ

i thought there is agreement about location of static.ini .....

MODS\STD\com\maddox\il2\objects\static.ini

you can find that info either in maps section or in object section :

maps:

(The link is inoperative)

objects:

viewtopic.php?t=4021

so please rearrange your mod structure accordingly ...

some objects for Canon's map and some of the man figures are meant to be at height off the ground.... they are copies of the original objects merely with height data added to their entries in the static.ini

you cannot adjust the height of these objects in the FMB....but you CAN adjust their height or make new ones in the static.ini file

look here...... viewtopic.php?t=5268

I am sorry, but English not native my language.
And I have not completely understood your message.
The main tasks of my work
1. To bring in some order to objects.
Such order what was in the official version of game.
Mod-makers has made many beautiful objects, but they are not incorporated in one pack.
Someone will want to make new object and can give to it the same name which already is.
There will be a conflict of game.
2. Authors have made many beautiful skins for objects. But these skins put on default objects.
I would like to enable users of a choice: or to dress this skin on default object. Or to apply as new object.
And for this purpose it is necessary to make slightly other structure of folders.
