Ok mate.. This really isn't that hard to uninstall, and at most only needs a few minutes of detective work from you..
There are two methods that you could have used to install this..

1. The old way using the 'files' folder and adding lines to your 'filelist txt'.
2. The new way, which simply requires you to put a copy of the mod itself, (depends on what you decided to call the folder) into the main 'MODS' folder in your IL1946 main directory..

if you used the latter method, simply delete the said folder for the 'FW bar mod' in your main MODS folder..

If you used the first method, simply locate your filelist txt and delete the lines you copied in there for the fw bar mod.. (that info is in the readme).
Next, look at your saved copy of the mod, and you will see that there are 29 files that you will have manualy copied into your 'files' folder.. use a little detective work to discover there whereabouts in the 'files' folder and remove them, (it took me about 10 mins to locate them all).
Finaly, in the 3do/cockpit folder in the 'files' folder you will find the 7 FW folders that covers the Focke Wolf variants in the mod and remove them..

If you haven't bothered to actualy keep the downloaded copy of the original fw bar mod, simply re-download it again to find out which files you need to remove..
it really isn't that complicated, as I'm not that computer savvy, but managed to locate where they were and uninstalled that mod awhile back.

This should've been fixed literally YEARS ago. Thank you so much! I can hardly wait for the fix for the razor back P-47s too, now.

It works perfectly, and it works fine with the flat canopy on the A-8 and A-9. That mod is just beautiful, too. It's the way the A-8 should've looked from the beginning.

Over at the "zoo", this subject had an unbelievable lifespan and surely created lifetime enemies. I'm glad to see it resolved. While Oleg steadfastly maintained that the geometry was right and, therefore, the "bar" would be visible, he later acknowledged that he had not taken refraction into account. I never could understand why he simply didn't modify (see also: remove) the bar to make it look as it would through the optical plate due to refraction. Just another example of what a talented modder can accomplish with a fraction of the energy expended versus bull-headedly maintaining a weak position to justify why it was done in the first place. Anyway, thanks or another great mod!

ok im proud to announce we will have the fw bar mod in the giant unified installer pack out within the week & it will also be compatible with the Askania_EZ-42_For_Fw190-D9 mod which is also included within the pack

Some info from the Askania manual suggests the reticle should be changed to be realistic.

can you please make compatible with gyro modded version of D9 - i do not have time to do this

ALSO: please clearly state that this mod is not yet compatible with gyro mod or you will make problems for people.

it is really upto any author of newer mods to make there mod compatible with the older ones

I have shelved the Mosquito mod
because it interfered with the X1 guidence on the Ta with the Askania mod.

Will this conflict be fixed with this mod?

If it is, how soon is it likely? I'm throwing up as to whether to dig out the Askania mod so I can run the Mossie, but there is no uninstaller.

There is a way to get the Mosquito XVI working with the EZ42 gunsight for Ta-183. Check the thread about the gunsight and you will see.
