Well in that case....

Pilot Officer F_IV takes off on his first operational sortie from the Top End.

Climbing out, our hero calls his wingmen into line abreast formation
[Image: 3-1.jpg]

But somethings cooking. Anti aircraft fire coming up thick and fast. His squadmates nowhere to be seen Pilot Officer F_IV boldly heads for the fray.

"Betties... I hate these guys!" A quick beam attack and back upstairs to get ready for another go
[Image: 6.jpg]

Another pass and they scatter!

Picking out a straggler, the dashing F_IV settles on his six and lobs 20mm shells into his unprotected fuel tanks.

That fixes him. But F_IV gets that familiar prickly feeling in the back of his neck.... Uhoh! Escorts. Coming down fast. He tips his trusty Spit into a dive and leaves the Navy-Oh eating dust.

But there's more of them. Twisting and turning, he wonders where the hell his wingmen have got to?
Whew! That was close...

But even closer for you mate!

Things are getting rough, when a familiar voice suddenly crackles in his F_IV's headphones, "Ay! Wazzup Digga?" F_IV's wingman arrives in the nick of time.

The hapless Zero tries to splitarse away but to no avail.

And like that, the sky magically seems to drain itself of aircraft. Pilot Officer F_IV heads for home and joins in the circut. Flaps and undercarriage down. Gently playing the throttle to maintain a steady approach.

A bit of trim. Want to pull off a nice landing for those Yanks down there....

Our gallant Pilot Officer F_IV makes a perfect three pointer. Hardly a murmur from the tires as he touches down.

"Not a bad little war this" He says as he climbs from the cockpit. The squaron intelligence officer is waiting and hands him a clipboard:

but a thing that i thought to be funny is your "permissions" section... with the mods being all in rthe grey area between legal and illegal (scheissegal), that part made me grin. Big Grin

Well I totally agree with Neil - my maps will feature the same thing.

Neil - excellent work. It's a lovely little map with an authentic feel Smile

Wow! Looks awesome, Neil!

I've installed it under my v4.08m installation, and it loaded OK in the FMB! I'm about to try out whether I can actually fly it...

Buggerit! Can't load/save the .mis properly in FMB using v4.08m . Maybe a pre-designed mission that is opened in the game itself as opposed to the FMB will work?

Sorry mate, only v4.09 as it uses objects from the latest patch.
