BTW, if you can get the F1 to work on 4.08, you will be a hero... I already tried and got a little further... but no dice.

There already is a flyable Bf109F-1! Just search for "Blitz Mod Pack" which includes also a FW190A5 torpedo bomber and some Russian fighter variations...
