I've now completed Ishigaki and Iriomote islands in the Sakishima's and I'm now working on Miyako Jima.

I'm very happy with the look of the map and my main task now is to go around tweaking all the textures and adding airfields and landmark buildings.


Ishigaki Jima with it's three landing strips.


The countryside is fully populated with farm buildings. Ishigaki's famous for it's beef.

The north of the island is relatively unpopulated.


Oganzaki lighthouse and coast guard station on the rugged northern tip of Ishigaki.


The malaria infested island of Iromote Jima to the west of Ishigaki.

Looks fantastic! Might I ask, how did you get the rocky shoreline? What texture is that?

Dleg the rock texture is sk_fields_mount4.tga and the scrub land sk_LowLand0.tga.
