I plan to do winter and spring textures. But can not now say exactly when it will be. At first I must do some amendments for autumn textures.

I didn't have any 3d trees following the texture lines until I changed Landscape Detail under Video Options from Excellent to Perfect mode. Could your problem be this?

I play il-2 on a rather rubbish home laptop. How do I change my landscape from excellent to perfect? I can't access it in Il-2, do I change it in my conf.ini?

First check your running in Open GL and are in a 32 bit colour resolution in the driver bit of Video Mode (you might also need Stencil Buffer on). Or this could be done in the Setup application.
Then when you change from Simple to Custom in Video Options you should be able to set Perfect in Landscape Detail.
In the conf.ini you should find under the Open GL section HardwareShaders should then change to HardwareShaders=1 rather than 0 as I think it may be at the moment.

I too get the trees in the sea and have been toying with the INI files to try and minimize them but it is so much better to have these trees in the Sim than not , I don't care so much about the trees in the sea. I can wait till CanonUK releases the final update
BTW Thanks Canon Super map Lived in Keston just down the road from Biggin Hill most of my life. It is really nice to fly from Home now 8)
I made a simple readme file and a rar with all the files and folders you can just drop into the Sim, takes about 30 seconds and you are done. If any one is in need

I'm looking forward to using this, but a couple of questions.
1) Is the new texture and tree build specifically for the BoB by Canon?
2) I love the new fields and trees from the screen-grabs, but worry about adding lines to conf.ini, etc,etc, I like the self installers that many have made.
When this reaches release date will it be a .exe version and can it be applied to all maps, or just the BoB one?

Not sure what you have but if it is Nvidia try 17 instead of your 3
