New SCW Campaign: "Attack on Malaga"
#1

As we now have a Heinkel He-51C, I have built a campaign for it! It is a lovely biplane, seriously undergunned, but nimble. And I wanted to use Agraciers very fine map over Andalucia as the basis for it. And the subject came pretty naturally: the battle for Malaga in early 1937.

And now it's ready!

You can download it here: http://www.mission4today.com/index.php?n...ils&id=707

There you will also find links to download the He-51C, the new Junkers Ju-52 bomber and the map over Andalucia.

It is a semi-historical, 10-mission static campaign, where you are a Spanish Nationalist pilot flying the Heinkel He-51C fighter, obviously. (In one mission you will fly the Miles Magister, which used by both sides in this conflict.) After the failure of the Nationalists to capture Madrid and the Republican counterattack at the Battle of the Corunna Road, the Nationalists are seeking to regain the initiative. A 40 kilometer wide strip of land in southern Spain along the Mediterranean Sea, centering on the city of Malaga, is held by the Republicans. This is to be the Nationalists new target...

It also uses Ranwers bomber Ju-52. (I built it using the old Ju-52 bomber mod, but it seems to work without a hitch with the new version, which is of course better.)

Included in this campaign is 22 skins, the work of the following skinners: Tchaika, Caldrail, Mangas, Metatron, 1-Thirteen, H-K, Snorri Bradhawk, Imme, UF_josse, Char_aznable, Foo-bar and (not least) Murdoc (who very quickly did a wonderful He-51C skinpack). The skins can be installed more or less automatically.

I also plan to make a special version of this campaign, featuring the DH-89 Dragon Rapide (a frankenplane if there ever was one), and MissionBug has kindly made skins for it. But first I'm trying to get that mod a little more available for the average user, download-wise.

Thanks for looking! Smile

Very good one! Thanks!
How can you have enough time to make so many spectacular campaigns and release them with a really little delay between one and another?

This looks great ( as have been your other campaigns...) are there any objects ( not already included in either HSFX or UP ) that need to be installed for the campaign to operate properly?

How I have the time? Not too much real life pressure right now

Dietz! It uses only the objects in vanilla HSFX/UP. You have to download the Heinkel He-51C, the bomber version of the Junkers Ju-52 and Agraciers map over Andalucia. That's it!

Works like a charm...both versions! I labled their folders in Missions/campaigns /Sp, Condor ( as suggested in readme...) & Condor2. Don't get the tracks tho...where did I go wrong?
Flying the He-51 is a dream worth waiting for!!!
Flew first mission & boy what fun - finally see some of the obscure middle European aircraft from the 4.09 edition & the landscape is beautiful.
BTW- This campaign offers achance to do a comparison with RoF ,which I like , even tho I cannot get my TrackIR5 to function smoothly with it.In everyway except the exterior finish of the aircraft & objects ( in which RoF excells) I think Il-2 modded is better-FM's, AI performance, maps, landscapes, atomosphere,.Last night I played RoF & then tried your campaign...and I believe I was smiling alot more after flying in Spain in my beautiful little He-51 ( that does have a superb cockpit!) Hi

I have a problem. The SP campaigns do not show in the carrer menu. In my UP missions/campaign/SP folder there are no files in the folder except for the folders which contain the files for the different campaigns. I am missing awards, ranklist, icon aso..

Is it ok like this?

Well, I got all that (awards, etc) through Ultrapack/HSFX. It's standard issue. Perhaps you must upgrade.
