Presets file for the Me-410
#1

Hi chaps

In the sounds some engines are too noisy for my ears and head phones to take. In that I managed to turn the Tempests Napier down to a better volume. But im trying to find the presets file for the Me-410 Hornisse and Fw-190 D9. If any one could tell me them, That will be great. Cheers Smile

Hey Cipher,

the Sounds and Presets for Me 410 are in the same folder as the plane itself...you should find them there.

For Focke Wulf D9 the name is Jumo 213 I think, but im not sure.

Good luck, mate.

I had a look in the presets file here:

(drive):\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\ME-410_D\presets\sounds

And all it had where the MG231 presets. So its either running off another engine... I think its the D9's, Wiki said it had DB-603's, I turned down the volume on that file to the same as the Tempests (95) and still no difference.

I appreciate your help though Smile

its strange, before the unified, i had the sound from the 335, but after the unified, got the D9 sound

i think that the volume for Me410 with D9 sound is actually good IMHO Arrow
