Am I stupid or...?.... Actors Cutter..
#1

I seem to have been having a great amount of trouble using the Actors cutter CS tool...

only enter co-ordinates x1/x2/y1/y2 ...sounds simple......
the readme says enter the top left corner first then the opposite corner ...opposite diagonally or opposite horizontally?

for me x = Eastings and y= Northings ......

following the readme I would give waypoints like this... mapsize being 713400 wide and half the height is 369600

so I gave x1 =0 ; y1= 369600 .... x2= 713400 ; y2= 0 (opposite diagonally) or y2= 369600 (oppsite horizontally)

neither seems to work...

with x1=0;y1=0 ; x2=713400; y2=369600 ...I get the outbuildings split correctly...... but not the chiefs and chiefsroad...???

so i am using the same unsplit chiefs and chiefsroad and Nstationary for both halves of the map....... as long as I only work upon objects I should be OK

Its the opposite diagonal you need.

X1, y1 = lower left coords
x2, y2 = upper right coords

You seem to have y1 and y2 reversed?

When you get an outbuildings.txt generated check it in a text editor to remove any blank lines from the end before you use it to make a new actors.static

When using Actors CS 1.1 it doesn't matter left or right, upper or lower corner - the program itself cares about it Smile Provided you've specified opposite corners.
