Dixiecapt, yes the campaign would need to be updated.
Shippack 2 has a different structure so it becomes it's own class.
When you play a mission with a ship from pack 1 while pack 2 installed it won't be loaded (and vice versa)
Pack 2 offers a lot more so it is worth the install!
And... How should the files be edited to make the missions made with shippack 1 compatible with shippack 2?
this is an example of two missions...... the first uses a cargo ship from shippack1 and the second from shippack2..... you can keep the co-ordinates, but need to alter other data (just the name really)...most of the new ships have guns too
61_Static ships.Ship$Tramp 2 214362.66 188609.73 550.00 0.0 0 2 1.0
160_Static ships.Ship$TroopTrans1 1 349427.46 127809.89 416.27 0.0 0 2 1.0
is so, that the names for static have changed, as stated above, you will have to look them up in the inis, for the moving ones it is so, that shippack2 get is's own class, the ships are not found under ships but under shippack in FMB. so the entry must be changed:
for ship pack1
[Chiefs]
0_Chief Ship.Carrier0 2 0 2 1.0
1_Chief Ship.DestroyerKM 2 0 2 1.0
for ship pack2
[Chiefs]
0_Chief ShipPack.Carrier0 2 0 2 1.0
1_Chief ShipPack.DestroyerKM 2 0 2 1.0
another possibilty is always, install pack2, go to FMB an reposition the new ship... pretty straightforward work.
Any chance of rehosting ship pack I ??
ShipPack 2 has all of ShipPack 1 so I suggest installing ShipPack 2
see this viewtopic.php?t=7580&highlight=
Someone have a link for the ShipPack 1.0 ??
I must have it to install the new Pack.
no you don't
Shippack2 contains all the stuff that was in SP1 plus new stuff...
did you even bother to read some of the posts below?
no, I need it to have the list of the java files to uninstall the shippack 1.0 before install the shippack 2
