I guess the title says it all. I have gone through the installation process twice and everything seems to be working, but the ESC key no longer allows you to exit the mission. This has happened with both installations so I suspect there is something in one of the .ini files that needs attention.

maybe you need a new keyboard? :lol:

if you have another keyboard, then see if that keyboard works with the game

Thank you for response, but I doubt that is the cause. The ESC key work before the additions and continues to work in all four of the IL2 installations that I have available. If it works in those, I can only conclude that something was changed by the mods. There may be a line missing somewhere, but I have no idea where to search for it. I can compare to the original file and to others if I only knew which instruction needs attention.

I have exactly the same problem also for some reason my game screen keeps defaulting to 640x400 resolution and the map appears in the middle of the screen, because I cant use escape to change screen modes I have to alt tab delete out of the game, this only started happening a day ago so its something simple I hope

Happened to me too yesterday. Looks very strange. But I think that is because program called “Perfect Clock” which was working in the background. I disabled it and after that all was OK, for now . . .

Well for some reason as well none of my mirrors were showing and I was getting other problems as well as the ESC key not working.

I deleted my modded game folder copied my vanilla game folder and re-installed the unified installer, all seems to be working now

i got the same problem except my desktop mouse icon and the toolbar shows up too

Check your good old fashioned "Conf.ini" first:-

And check if conf.ini is "readonly" that would negate your changes stick!
