CONSOLE WARNING & GAME CRASHES
#1

I am new to installing mods. I have installed the Unified Installer package and created a few missions using The Slot Map. I have got the missions to run, but there are two problems that I would like to resolved.

Console Warning:
After creating and saving a Slot mission, the console readout in FMB gives the following warning at the end:

WARNING: Bad scale (not -1, 1, 2, 4, 8) at water2 = water/CoralCoastLine.tga,
Load bridges
Load static objects
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Furnature/5x1 Red/mono.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/BaseSmallSegment/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Port/Floor/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Tree/Tree2.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Furnature/10x1 5 Red/mono.sim)

If anyone has an suggestions on what I should do to elimiate this warning statement, please let me know.

Game Crashes:
The second problem is that the game crashes near the end of the mission. This does not always happen. When it does, the crash takes place as I am taxiing into a revertment or at the mission statistic screen. When the game crashes, a window entitled "IL2-Sturmovik Forgotten Battles: il2fb.exe - Application Error". In the window's message box are the following statements: "The instruction at "ox10020a57" referenced memory at "0x119ff220". The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program".

Here again, if anyone has suggestions on how to solve this problem, please let me know.

Memory errors like this in Windows can indicate a failing ram module (installed ram in the slots on the mainboard) or maybe it's something simple such as a fragmented hard drive because, unless you tell it otherwise, Windows will use a section of your drive as "Virtual Memory"?

PDelaney,

I'll run defrag on the harddrive. I hope it's not a RAM problem. I had this in a previous computer years ago. There is a similarity, but the current problem is not as bad. I see if defrag helps.
