Might be another use for the "camera ship" (invisible B25)?

I suppose you could put an invisible B25 inside a hanger with no waypoints and when bombed the crew would bail out and run if the B25 got damaged? Is that what you mean? I'm no mission builder so not even sure if that would work?

Sounds like quite a lot of object placements though as opposed to just having the running men bound to the buildings (again not sure if that can be done).

One should rather try to bind it to the siren trigger.

Aircraft crews bail out if they cant take off, also its "extra" resources having 20 of them sitting there, same as vehicle columns in hangars etc.

If the animation of running men could be split from the columns....
being able to attach it to sirens would be cool Smile

A couple of weks ago I started an identical thread to this. My suggestion was to give this running-man feature to key default airfield structures. That way the effect would work on all maps and missions, past and present with no need for fancy FMB editing.

Well I'm a avid FMBer with over 4000 missions built since IL2 Sturmovik series started, one thing the sim/game has are "sterile" airfields and towns, ok you can put some cars and trucks into "liven up" the towns etc but it's no frame rate buster these days to have running/walking ground activity and shipping even when these areas are attacked Smile

There are various tricks with columns/plane hidden in hangars, but to be able to place this as an object and have it active as when the columns are attacked would make for a more realistic looking scenario with towns ships & airfields.

It could be a real enhancement to IL2 if it could be done Smile

Cheers
