For some reason I have not been able to figure out, the aircraft and ground icons in the small map insert that appears with the key when in flight, have changed size dramatically. Previously they were large and shaped like aircraft and squares for ground targets, now they have become very tiny little dots.

I've looked in the key controls for some sort of toggle key to change size, but found nothing.

I don't know what caused it, installing some mod or other I suppose, but even so I'd like to get the map insert icons back to their default larger size.

I'd gratefully appreciate any hints as how that is supposed to work.

did you install my map resized map icons mod .... by any chance ?

if so then just disable "fly_z_gamemap" folder in MODS

No, I haven't installed that mod. Checked my mods folder and its not there, nor does it ring a bell.

I made some smaller icons and some dot ones too that Ranwers may have included with his Corsair "radar" mod. It might be that you are using that.

By Jove that was it ... I suspected it might have been the Corsair radar mod, but I first changed the folder names by putting an underscore in front of the folder name. That didn't work, though I've seen that advice given often for uninstalling mods.

Now however after reading your good advice tried again and I deleted the folders wholesale and presto, things are back as they were before, with large sized aircraft icons.
