What version of the game are you running?


Hyperlobby is where most people go to join online games, you can download Hyperlobby here:

AAA has a server there for modded games using version 4.08 of IL2 Sturmovik 1946.

Anyway, to answer your question, install hyberlobby, make an account there. Go in the AAA Server section of the forums and find the IP address for the server. Go into IL-2, click multiplay, click join, and type in the IP address... (Ask Forager how to do it from Hyperlobby - I only know the hard way! 8) )

The server only runs on v.4.08. If you have 4.09b1m, download the switcher on this site and run the 4.08 program switcher. You should be good to go.

Instead of going off on the guy just give him the damned link to hyperlobby.

Also, he can directly join the AAA server from Hyperlobby, no need to do all that "Go in the AAA Server section of the forums and find the IP address for the server. Go into IL-2, click multiplay, click join, and type in the IP address..." crap.

If the title of a topic annoys you so much just do not click on it, there are people here who will and your stress level will be lower.
