Hello to all.
I suggest new textures for Yakovlev Yak-1/1b models cockpits:
Not everything as I expected it to be, but I did my best, trying to rework every textures details...
Special thx to:
1. Avala -- for a couple of rings from his gauges PSD-file were used...
2. Avala -- for teaching me to work with a-channel.
3. Eric Pilawski -- for answering my multiple ques-s and providing me with some nice details/info...
Please note it's my 1st cockpit repainted & it's still a beta version. I honestly just didn't have time to test broken gauges/night broken gauges versions. So if you encounter any bugs -- feel free to PM me or just post the problem description right here in this thread...
Version 2 now:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/e491d ... gas_v2.rar
Changed in this version:
1. The gauges used to become all darked when turning the night lights on -- fixed now;
2. The trimmers controlling wheels reworked: more consistent now;
3. New detailed flare pistol added to the lower left (except for the barrel, which is impissible to rework, since the same part of the texture is mapped at the empty brass redirecting tubes);
4. The overall colour is A-14 now (which is seem most probable/historically correct);
5. New war worn dirt canopy glass added (effect looks best during poor conditions and/or dusk/dawn flights);
7. New pilot seat without cusion added: cusion removed since, actually, pilots sat right at their parashutes instead;
6. A few minor changes are made.
For those who like previous light blue coloured cockpit variant better -- just copy the TGA files from "Light_blue" folder to the desired a/c folder. For those who want to have cusion -- take it from the Alternative_cusion folder.
Enjoy & happy flights!
My best regards,
Mangas.
