Hey guys im' havin' problems playing online. when i hit multiplayer it gives me two options Join or Host. i clicked "join" and it gave me two more options, look for local servers or server. i type in a random number or just leave it as it says. i clicked "join" and i waited almost 31 minutes waiting and i clicked cancel. I am real good with computers: i mod my computer games but i can't figure out why i can't use or figure out how to play multi. ANY HELP? that would be very helpful. :?: hock: :?:

This will help mate,you dont need to use multiplayer in your game,nobody use it lol. You need hyperlobby to fly online, look at this :

I have the altest version of hyperlobby, and i've specified a path for IL2.exe

so far, there's only one game. What is the name of the AAA server, or whatever, and when is it on so to speak? Times in GMT if poss :wink:

I connected to the il2 sturmovik server rather than the forgotten battles one.. oops

also, is there a way of playing ont he aaa server whilst using version 4.09mb1 instead of version4.08?

I am new to this also. I got online using Xfire. When I got to the combat I noticed that the planes didn't have the usual red or blue writing above them. Some of the planes had black writing above them. I assume they were the enemies but I didn't want to proceed at the risk of killing friendly fighters. So, in a situation like that how do you tell the good guys from the bad guys? :?:
