Thanks for pointing this out too us! The Original flame Mod looked cool but if I saw that from inside the plane I might do a "0 x 0" bailout. The combination of the two mods looks excellent.

Thanks to both Modders!

I'm getting nothing like that kind of flame on start up as seen in the picture.. Exactly how does this need to be installed?

Make sure the title of the folder occurs alphabetically before Slipry's one does.
Works a treat here. Thanks very much for this!

Hmm.....

Ya know what I did?

I took the files from this one and added the Pluff and replaced the EngineStart 1.eff file in Slipry's MOD. Seems to work very well!

Lovin' it!

"Fly is possible add your little flame in night mission (make this flame visible only in night)?????"

Sorry, I don't know how. The mod which is Slipry's, gives intermittent non-static FX. It's not the same every time, which seems pretty realistic. Night lighting involves other extracted files. But in the future, who knows? Big Grin

Are you talking about the engine flame pattern that is visible in flight at night? I too would love to see this detail added to night missions. I have seen aircraft identification cards that included the exhaust flame pattern for Allied & Axis airplanes. This would make it easier to spot the enemy at night. Smile I have seen movies that attempted to add this detail to the drama, and they depicted the engine flame "blinking" in pattern to the firing order of the engine RPM...

I wonder if their was a difference in flame size or brightness if a pilot changed mixture, RPM or fuel, while in combat flight?

PS Sorry about the redundant topics...I do hope someone picks up the idea though.
