Hi

I would like to find out if there is an easier way to disable the morenations mod
other than using all the backup files I made.

It doesn't actually go into the Mods folder in a folder unto itself.It actually goes in the Files,i81n and paintschemes folders.

I recentley added it to play Crackens "Lightning over the Tatras" Campaign.
I then stumbled onto a thread about an online bug with the morenations mod

Unforutantly I came across this thread after I installed the Mod to play Crackens Campaign.
I tried to post this in the thread I linked to but the forum would not allow it to happen,so I posted a new thread.If it's in the wrong section,I'm sorry.

I find,for myself anyway,AAA to be a confusing website to navigate.Don't take that the wrong way,I really appreciate and respect the amount of time and effort that goes into creating these Mods and maintaning this website.I'm getting better at navigating around here a bit.

I just wished I had found this thread before....I installed the campaign and what needed to be installed in order to run this campaign.In fact ,there are several threads I found after the fact on the subject ,but none have helped me so far as what to do.Other than reverting back with backups.
which if thats the way ,I will play the campaign then revert.Would be nice to be able to use the morenations mod though with out the addded hassle of a total revert with the backup files.

Anyway,I was wonder what do I do now it's installed with online play as I can't put a - sign in front of a folder thats not there.Other than reverting back to less nations with all my backups.
It's not a simple procedure flipping back and forth for online play?

Any info on an easier way to enable and disable the "morenations" mod would be appreciated.

Use the new GME switcher.

Install it on teh root of your "IL-2 Sturmovik" folder and give the GME folder a name like "GME".

Put the "More Nations and Squadron" mod on it and with the GME switcher, you can enable or disable it with a click

What has 'sticky removed' got to do with the price of fish? The comment I presume you're talking of was not intended at you, and was directed at the fellow moderator of the section when I removed a "sticky" function from that thread. A "Sticky" is a thread that is "stuck" at the top of the section page... You might have noticed these from time to time.

This thread might help clear up why I removed this thread from the WIP section and relocated it to here, another "Sticky".

I just noticed that there's never an explanation,just sticky whatever removed or thread moved ete so I thought i'd ask as It was a thread I started.Now I see the light
