I want to request that somebody do the fighter variants of the late Bf 109 series. As it is the last 109 we have in the sim with the MG151 20mm cannon is the G6AS variant while the G10 and G14 are stuck with the slow firing 30mm used by the luftwaffe for bomber intercept.

The G10 and G14 standard fighter variant comes with the 20mm which has a much higher rate of fire and a greater muzzle velocity. The 20mm was by far more numerious in the late G series

Not sure about the K-4 as I believe all it offered was the 30mm.

I'd second this one. While we're at it, how about 20mm versions of the K4's just to be consistent with the 20mm optional K14?

There are already MG151/20 versions of G-10 and K-4 available from the Russian community, or i should better say they will be available with the second batch of planes IF they pass AAA standards. No stock plane edits are allowed, so these are added as new slots.

I DO like the Russian mod pack, and I am using it, or at least parts of it. I didn't install the MiG-3 or LaGG mods (Not planes I see lots of anyway), nor did I keep their 109E1 (E4 stock FM and 3D, the AAA version is better).

It's not compatable with anything other than Sound Mod 93 (Unless you add three files to your current version for DB601 sounds).

On the plus side: 109G4 (With it's own FM?) , 109G10/14 20mm options :twisted: , 190G8 (Bugged default loadout but fixable), 111H16 (New loadouts, maybe faster), and early versions for most of the YaK series and the LA-5F (It seems Oleg's versions of those planes were all modeled as the latest, greatest, and best...Surprise! :roll, and a Spitfire Mk.Va.

That said, I think we should cooperate with the Russian modders, de-bug it, strip the 109E1, and get it posted here.

Don't forget their Hurricane IIA mod, which was the addition I most appreciated!
I don't see why the new batch of Russian mods won't be included, their Chaikas all were included in the Unified Installer V1.0.

Those birds passed the AAA approval testing before being included. I'm hoping for a similar process with these too, so that they will be all included in the next UI.

(There are more planes at the Russki site, I-15 two variants, U-2 three variants, I-16 several variants, Il-4 late, Yak-7UTI two-seater...)
