Hi, i own a saitek X52 Pro, with the MFD, i use it to control my Windows movie player, i can scroll throgh different pages and with a programme i downloaded allows me to see in game data on the little screen, for example in MSFX? the radio or navigation? in IL2 you can see how much input you have on each axis of the joystick, e.g throttle percentage and my fav TRIM, how much trim you have set and is usefull for knowing how much you need at different speeds in any aircraft, just set it up for the climb just before take off, Bomber usefulness. Now there is another, where a guy has made it last year but has stopped posting and i dont know if it is in a permanent WIP, it can show, heading, Speed, Fuel Level remaining in Lbs, Alt and much much more.

apipisia Wrote:DeviceLink is working online but it is limited to some commands only. There is no access to a number of GET methods to e.g. read aircraft pitch, speed etc. etc.

I suppose the change should allow another set of commands (maybe restricted as well) to be working, to get the data from the user's aircraft only.

I guess there is no way to make this "radar" cheat or something like this. I would like to see only things that are useful for self-built cockpits like:
1) altimeter
2) compass
3) variometer
4) pitch gauge
5) Attitude indicator
6) speedometer
7) engine RPM
8) engine oil temperature
9) fuel tank(s) gauge
10) Turn and bank indicator

PS: Linked topic: viewtopic.php?p=25289#25289
it could be used to make an aimbot though, if more stuff was hacked of course. devicelink by itself should not be dangerous afaik

Well I wonder why it is blocked. Maybe it is the programming problem that chosen solutions / implementation / ideas do not allow to use net protocol for ONLINE gaming and DEVICELINK ?

On the other hand some actions are available like time-of-day, cockpit number etc. But why HEADING value is not? It is available on-screen even for servers which has the HUD data disabled/hidden...

For me if I could read oil temperature, I could remove whole this HUD info on the right-middle part of the screen. Plus current radiator's settings. For my lovely Zeke I can live without it, reading data from cockpit gauges, but I change planes according to the current mission, so...

i know this is an old post, the only reason i hauled in the excavator to dig it up from the grave is that i am trying to get a hold of skippy's G15 app. anyone know where i can get it? when ever i have tried his link (or any other) that goes to check-six.org, the site has been down with a DB error.

Any solutions ? Modifications ? Hacks ?

I wonder if it will be possible in Il2 have virtual cockpits like in FSX or LOMAC...

I would like to see my working online a lot!

Best regs!

+1.000.000 = 1 I had to point that out. He used period's not commas

thanks, for the link. i think i may make a more in-depth version (more readings ect...) when i get a chance to sit down with the g15 SDK and reinstall my coding software.

just because you're american (assuming by your name?) and you use ,'s doesn't mean everyone else in the world uses ,'s to seperate by the thousands, and that is completely off topic.

but I don't see gauges for altitude, airspeed, etc.

not in effect no gauges, it replaces the keys of the keyboard, and
deal the reglages of trims with precision.

useful for those that lacks buttons on their joystick.

Cheers.

Thanks for the Bumpage.

In the past 48 hrs, i've had the opportunity to sit down in my simpit for basically the first time since January and got all the new AAA mods set up that have appeared since then .. so much variety has been born since then, to my delight.. but, for online play, my secondary monitor is still useless Sad
