I am trying my hand at skinning aircraft, and it is coming along alright. Once I finish working on a skin, I place the file in the PaintSchemes folder for the plane I am working on, but it doesn't show up in the skin list as an option. the only mod I have installed is the Unified Installer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to eventually give back to the community that has given me so much.

How are you saving the file m8?

It should be saved in paintschemes/skins and then the correct plane, which I see you are doing.

Make sure you save it as a .bmp file and it should show up.

Helps if its indexed color also. Change mode from RGB to indexed before you save in your photo editing program.

Thanks guys...I forgot to change the colors to indexed before saving it. I really appreciate the help.
