Yeah, that doesn't work. Strangely enough, by switching the .exe with the original from the DVD, I end up with the entire game in Russian. Weird....

I don't know if you can answer this but, how difficult would it be to change the sound mod so that the original English .exe is used in the process? I'm assuming from what I've read that the reason for the language switching to Russian is due to the Russian version of the software being used to make the mod. I have no idea about making mods, but I'm willing to learn to help out everyone. Okay, that's all for now...

I recently installed the "Biggin Hill Wing" campaign (recommended!) however since then all rankings in all British campaigns appear in Russian (at least I think its Russian!, excuse my ignorance!)
Ranks in German and US campaigns still appear in English.
I have re-installed the "english language fix" a couple of times to no avail.
It's only a small problem but a fix would be appreciated if anyone can help

A hint from here... I cecked the zip I downlowaded for the Biggin Hill campaign.... no file in there is responsible for your bug, must come from somwhere else.

Checkthe Missions/campaign/GB folder and look up the file rank.properties. open it with wordpad (or something the like - almost all "unknown" files can be opened with wordpad since they are simple text files with strange filetype).
if there is a rank_ru.properties, check it too. this one may create the problem, if so, delete it.

this is the only thing I can think of right now.

I'm not sure where those Russian files came from (Although I do tend to stumble through some mod installations from time to time)
