Yup. RAF_Cobber, the same fellow who made the SM.79 being imported... however, I believe he's focusing on the Pits and Gunner stations for the 79.

Quote:Hey lads, thx so much for your support. It means the world really!

B50, great idea about the hacks, but I rather do a new plane all together since I get to learn 3D modelling. That way there is something in it for me, aside from the fact that I might get to fly the D.520 in some distant future on, for instance, WoE server which I like very much!

S! all and hope you find the time B50 to get going again.

Thats the Spirit!

If you get new updates of this AMAZING project please post some screeshots, there are lots of impatient folks out there (including me!) to get this plane on the air chasing Emils in France, or fighting Wildcats over Morocco.

Kindest Regards!

I don't plan or condone stepping on anyone's toes, and I hope I didn't cross that line myself.

I began my project to learn more about the modeling/modding process also, and to be able to offer help to make projects happen sooner (not going well). I don't plan to be in competition with any D.520 that is in develpment, cause it will surely be better than mine.

Also, I responded to this thread because I really think that the D.520 is like a missing child to this sim, and would love to fly more early stuff myself.

Per, anything I find that can help you, weapons, files, model, LODS, slots, anything, I'll let you know.

Yes, his S.79 is amazing!

Don't worry, I didn't sense any hostility. I was just making clear that I intend to not to compete with anybody's ongoing projects, lest I draw the ire of forum entities. Whether they be Moderators or Modders. I only wish to learn more, and be able to offer more in the future by furthering my knowledge of the processes and software involved (not going well so far, mostly due to time) for manufacturing these aircraft.

Finally, a French plane that doesn't have "Too low, to slow, stall at the drop of a hat, HAVE MERCY!" written all over it.

I see you got the main landing gear canted inwards, and the scoop below the exhausts on...

Keep truckin'

I have a sense that the further you get by yourself, the more the mod gods will hopefully offer.

Good Luck.
