There are ON- an OFF-Versions. What's the difference?

I installed mbug_slovakia_winter but can't find

ON as in Online -> reduced buildings count -> better performance on slower machines
OFF as in Offline -> higer buildings count -> worse performance on slower machines

It's stated in readme Wink

there are few airports on the map (marked in readme) that have hangars dedicated to bombers (big hangars). The thing is that i made all starts/spawn points inside hangars and Slovakia hangars are too short to handle big bombers. Sample pictures, just to make sure we understand each other:
Polje airport (near Ljubljana) from above. Note different hangars in the northern part and south-east part of it. Also runways for them:

This hangars can handle fighters but are too short for bombers:

So, i placed these hangars for bombers:

If this is not what you had in mind i can send you actors.static just for the airfields, they are separate, yes Smile But you're probably thinking of runway points (Start, taxi... those can be easily extracted from actors.static that came with the map as they are stored in different files, not in outbuildings.txt.

I'm having this map on my DS and it's fine. Currently there are only a couple of missions but it's just because i'm filling the database in order to update my statistics website (i'm now using FBDj). So, at this stage everybody can just fool around there. If you want to try it without any worries of being banned or something similar, log to zuti.mine.nu:21000 Smile But as i said, the missions are few and not that interesting, yet.


even in your 1st picture you have the AI landing or taking off into (as in, will collide with) 2 buildings. i tested that field. We'll get you pointed in right direction. i'll PM you.

Yes, i must admit that i was only checking the spawn points for rl players. Not for AI. What i did was check the stay points on wake island map and copy the logic (stay0 outwards, 1 in the box, stay0 connected to taxiway...). Thanks for your help.

I have the first version 1.1 posted in the beta section. I noticed that there is a small difference on the size of the 1.1 version posted here. Should I delete and reinstall this one?
I only ask because I need to do it in 4 PCs and tell a bunch of guys to do to be compatible.

The map looks really good, particularly in the high object density offline versions. One request for your consideration: the borders on the map are modern; would it be possible to either replace these with the wartime boundaries, or at least overlay the wartime borders on the existing map? As I'm sure you know, Slovenia was partitioned along lines quite different from the current borders. Thanks for your work and your consideration.

KDN: nah, no need to. Just wait till I post update with fixed airfields infrastructure points so it will enable AI operations. Missed that one as i was only checking pure DF functionality.

Bimmer: indeed, Trst was Slovenian! Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin Hm, i'll try to find the old border somewhere but if you have a picture of it somewhere already just PM me and i'll see to it that it is done.

I'm glad you all like it. And with Thruds help it'll be even better (AI wise).

Not what it is in rl but i am no 3d modder. And there are 40+ of these on the map, you just didn't check the readme Tongue But on the other hand, i might have missed it's true position.

For other errors that you found, just post pictures and i'll fix them in upcoming update.

Replying to the wartime boundaries question: I found some online info about pre-war and wartime maps of Slovenia. Maybe it will help.
