Hello!
In the true theres not a sigle genuine digital sound from BMW801,
the sound from Orinal game and mods isnt a BMW801 and was a weak engine sound,
but This looks near real plane, is powerfull, i extract too a start engine from
video restauration FW, hope you like!
presets and samples in:
IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\FW-190_A-3
and too in IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Files (If you want this to all FWs A).

That magine guns was really rapid fire, if you like realism this MG sound is correct.
You can backup the old sound, but dont worth, this is much better, be shure!

Is this the sound of a BMW 801 or the new Focke Wulf with the Russian Radial in it?
I like realism so I will give these guns a try. I think i just find the sound unpleasant.
will putting the files directly in the A3 folder in MODS folder override the FILES folder samples and presets?

Sometimes we have a autentic digital record from X plane, but the result in game dont look the real game, a real warbird have a "Heavy Metal" sound, if you have the oportunity see a WW2 radial engine you will agree.
I think is very important quality digital sound files, dont care were you fond or how you do the sound, The result of combination of sound files in comparison with real plane is the priority.

The Motor powering the Flug Werk Focke Wolf 190-A8\N is the ASh-82FN 14-cylinder twin-row radial engine which ironically enough is the exact same engine that powered the La-5 and La-7!
So would it not make sense to apply these sounds to the LA-5/7 instead?

I extract only the startup sound, is very similar sistem, but how write before, theres not BMW801 digital audio with possibility use in auor beloved simulator, i did a mix of radial engines with good result.

Maybe later if you could you could Redo the LA-5\& flight sound. as it is it sounds too slow, Not enough RPM's. The tachometer shows 3,000 but the engine sounds 1,000

Yes, i want to do, need find more sound files with quality.
I need ajust in presets the level of sounds, some gun and engines.
