Fw190D-13/R11 W.Nr.836017 "Yellow 10-+-" Stab/Jg26

The only identified D-13 of 2 mentioned in the March 1945 Distribution plan of luftwaffe fighters,
the Werk number would suggest this is the 17 D-13 built but no documents have surfaced of the production logs of the type.
The likly pilot of 'yellow 10' was Maj. Franz Gotz kommodore of Jg26 with the Pik A's logo and the rumor that yellow 10 was Gotz' lucky number,
This is the only Stab plane to have yellow codes.

'Yellow 10' was delivered in factory colours of RLM 81/83 over fuselage and RLM81/76 upper wings with 81 carrying over to the underside of the wings in a W3 pattern.
At some point all the upper surfaces were painted in dense pattern of RLM 82/83 or 81
in what is probably the most elaborate 'greening' paint job seen at this point, its unlikely that this was done at any point of production and must be considered a 'one off' scheme
painted in the field at the request of the kommodore as at such a late stage in the war its unlikely that anyone else would have the pull to have such a job done.

It has been suggested that the word 'Kommodore' was painted on the underside of the radiator.
Only the letters 'Ko' can be seen but its more likely to say 'Kontrolliert' meaning that the aircraft has been inspected and Neutralized buy luftwaffe personnel
under the supervision of RAF disarmament wing. this inscription is visible on other aircraft at Flensburg at the same time that 'Yellow 10' was there.

Where have you been hidden all this time???

Your work is excellent. Moreover, you make blank skins (the only ones in which I am interested). Do you have a website to see and download other of your artworks? (Maybe a link through MP?)

Thank you.
