But also :

KURLAND !

NB: For the later one, the buildings & airfields are original (summer) ones ...
Summer camouflage for the three last ones to have a corrrect water behavior.
New texs for runways & landing strips, cities & factories, snowy fields, forests...

All will remain 4.08 compatible !

Still to be done: Murmansk, Norway ... I'll do a single map-pack because a lot of texs are common

Will these be "new" versions of the maps, or will they replace the existing versions, like vpmedia's do?
I like these well enough, I would just as soon use them as replacements. That way I won't have to edit each one of my existing missions files to use these textures.

Looks real good. I like the model trees at the treelines in the first pic.

It is a dilemma to decide to replace or make a new map isn't it. All those old missions. Ah so much.

Top notch work ! What about those 'light' winter textures for Western Europe ? Are you going yo use them as well ?

I've just finished adapting your winter textures to the Normandy map for a dynamic campaign by Boelcke I'm currently flying, and they look amazing !

Cheers

I like the Winter Murmansk image with the ice/ water combination.
I already wanted to ask if somebody could do a winterlandscape with ice

Last additions...

MOSKOW winter :

For this one, I experimented with atmosphere : I did a nearly overcast layer for high altitude clouds.
As this kind of atmosphere produce more indirect light, I increased ambient light and decreased diffuse light.

Its a pity that we can't work on parameters (color & density) for haze on each map: to replace this blue horizon haze with a light grey one ... Cry

Net1 Winter :

On this one, I experimented with texs placement (Map_T file) : smaller patches for forests and some kind of fields.

As I need to deeply rework on Norway winter map (my purpose will be to have more & more snow as we go north), I need to know how to deal with Map_T.tga in Photoshop 8)

Are you ok with map_t stuff? If not, PM me and I'll give you some pointers. And I recommend GIMP for handling greyscale in this instance Smile
