Hi all:

Ok, I tried using the 'Search' function here but searching for air.ini and "air.ini" only gave me returns for anything pertaining to the word "air" - which of course is just about every thread in every forum here.

My question:

I just tried to download, again, the Spit MkI and it, again, doesn't show up on my list. I went to the original thread and tried going over all 70+ pages to find where I went wrong. I found the posts that told me to add the lines to 'plane_ru.properties' and 'weapons_ru.properties'. It also told me to add lines to 'air.ini' file which is what I'm now trying to find. I searched the root folder using both the 'Search' function in Windows and just plain old bull work of opening up all the folders in the game except 'Missions', 'PaintSchemes', 'records' etc. Neither way returned any results.

I've got the wrapper already. I downloaded and installed the AC INSTALLER v3.0. I downloaded and tried to install the Spit and it never appeared. I don't have and won't have the UI 'cause, as I've stated before, I want too many of the WIP things that are currently blocked by the UI.

I have the 'Files' folder with 'GUI/GAME/buttons'.

Anybody's help?

.... when installing Spit1 mod ( or any other new plane mod) dos-prompt window pops up and you need to choose option 1 to allow installer to edit your air.ini and other ini files

MAKE A BACK UP,before editing your air.ini file or any file for that matter.
Be carefull to add the correct info and exactly how it is suppose to be added(proper spelling ete).

.... when at it you should update your plane_ru.properties and weapon_ru.properties as well .... or the above wont do you any good :wink:
